When you sign up, we collect:

  • Your email address (or Google/Apple login – note Apple may use a private relay address).
  • Your display name, profile photo, and optional bio.
  • Waitlist sign-ups: email address only, used to notify you of launch.

We use your email address to send essential account-related communications, such as verification, subscription updates, and follow-ups regarding reports or account actions (e.g. warnings, restrictions, or bans).

When you use Drunklog, we collect:

  • Photos and videos you upload.
  • The timestamp of each upload.
  • Drink types you log.

We do not collect your location.

2. Social Features

  • You can only add “buddies” by joining the same drinking session.
  • Interactions are limited to active sessions (e.g. sharing drinks, reactions).
  • When you create a Public Session, it becomes visible to all Drunklog users. Your display name, profile photo, and any photos/videos or drinks you log in that session will be accessible to all participants. Public Sessions are optional — by default, all sessions are private and invite-only.

  • Subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions.
  • We do not collect or store your payment card details.
